Doba's US warehouse network and 2–7 day domestic delivery are genuine. Its wholesale prices are not low enough for most sellers to profit on: in one published 10-product test, nine items lost money at real marketplace prices. Worth a $0.99 trial if slow shipping is hurting your store. Skip it if you compete on price.
How we made this estimate
This is a compiled review, not a hands-on one. We did not run a Doba store ourselves. The score above is built from six named sources checked in October 2026: verified-buyer ratings on Trustpilot and the Shopify App Store, aggregate scores from G2 and SaaSworthy, SaleHoo's published 10-product margin test, and Doba's own pricing and fees pages, which we read directly for every number on this page.
Where sources contradict each other, we say so rather than averaging the tension away. Every experiential claim below is attributed to the sellers or source that made it.
What Doba actually is
Doba is a supplier aggregator, not a supplier. It sits between you and roughly 200 wholesale suppliers, pulls their catalogues into one searchable index, and handles listing and order routing so you place one order with Doba instead of chasing each vendor separately.
The company was founded in 2002 and operates out of Utah, which makes it one of the oldest names in the category. Doba's own materials say it has served over 3.2 million sellers, and it holds an A+ accreditation from the Better Business Bureau.
Catalogue size depends on who you ask. Doba's Shopify listing advertises “1M+ US products”, while some 2026 roundups put the total above 2 million. The number that matters more is the one every source agrees on: around 90% of those suppliers ship from US warehouses, which is the whole reason to pay for Doba rather than source from overseas.
The platform wraps that catalogue in automation — a product research tool, one-click listing to Shopify and other channels, auto-listing rules, inventory sync, and an AI credit system Doba calls Pilot credits. Standard and Enterprise plans add API access and a dedicated account manager.
Can you actually make money on it?
This is the question the ratings do not answer, and it is where the most useful evidence lives.
SaleHoo published a structured margin test on ten Doba products, pricing each against what the same item sells for on live marketplaces. The result: zero products cleared a 20% contribution margin, one landed in the 5–20% band, and nine came out negative, with losses between 3% and 81%. Doba's reference price was higher than the real marketplace price on nine of the ten.
Two details in that test are worth knowing before you trust any figure on a Doba product page. First, six of the ten test products showed as out of stock during the test. Second, the “up to X% margin” labels are a supplier-level setting rather than a live market calculation — every VEVOR item displayed 27% and every AOSOM item displayed 30%, regardless of the product.
That matches the single most common complaint in verified-buyer reviews. Sellers repeatedly report that Doba's wholesale prices sit at or near what the same goods fetch on Amazon and eBay. A Trustpilot reviewer in July 2026 put it bluntly: “Their wholesalers are trash with trashy products, youll get lots of returns and suppliers wont refund.”
Check the arithmetic before you subscribe. Several brands in Doba's catalogue — VEVOR and AOSOM among them — sell direct to consumers at prices that undercut the wholesale listing. Many suppliers also prohibit resale on Amazon and Walmart outright, which removes the two channels most new sellers plan to use. Doba publishes a free profit calculator and a break-even ROAS calculator with no subscription required; run your target products through them first.
What Doba costs in October 2026
Four tiers, three billing cycles. Quarterly billing takes 5% off the monthly rate and annual billing takes 15%, both charged upfront. Enterprise is monthly or annual only.
| Plan | Monthly | Quarterly | Annual | Stores | One-click listings | Inventory |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Limited | $29.99 | $86.01 | $305.99 | 1 | 30 | 20 |
| Basic | $59.99 | $171.00 | $611.99 | 2 | 250 | 600 |
| Standard | $149.99 | $428.01 | $1,529.99 | 5 | 1,000 | 3,000 |
| Enterprise | $299.99 | Not offered | $3,059.99 | 15 | 2,500 | 15,000 |
Limited is the cheapest way in and close to useless for a working store: one store connection, 30 one-click listings, and an inventory cap of 20 products. Basic at $59.99 is the realistic floor, and Standard at $149.99 is the tier Doba marks as its best choice, adding API access, the Elite Academy training, and an account manager.
Annual billing saves real money — about $108 a year on Basic and $270 on Standard — but it is also where the refund problem bites. Doba's fees page is unambiguous: “Once the subscription fee is successfully charged for over 72 hours, you will not be entitled to a full refund of any monthly/quarterly/annual subscription.” Paying for a year upfront on a platform you have used for a week is a bet you cannot unwind.
On trials, the merchant's own pricing page lists 7 days for $0.99 on Basic and 5 days for $0.99 on Standard. Aggregator sites still advertise a 14-day version of this trial; that figure is stale. Installing through the Shopify App Store instead gives new customers a genuinely free 7-day Basic trial, one per Shopify account.
Either way, the fees page confirms the trial auto-converts: “Upon expiration of the Trial Period, Doba will automatically charge the full subscription fee.” The $0.99 is also non-refundable.
Doba currently runs a rewards programme worth up to $50 in cash coupons at $10 per newly connected store, a free one-year .STORE domain with membership, and 30 free Pilot credits at signup, which cover 30 product searches or six market reports. New accounts registered through a referral link can also claim 10% off a first paid plan, though that discount explicitly excludes the $0.99 trial.
Where the ratings split
Doba has one of the widest rating spreads we have seen on an established platform. The same company scores 2.7 on one review site and 4.8 on another.
| Source | Score | Sample | As of |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trustpilot | 2.7 / 5 | 94 reviews | Oct 2026 |
| Shopify App Store | 4.3 / 5 | 48 reviews | Oct 2026 |
| SaaSworthy | 3.9 / 5 | 238 ratings | Aug 2026 |
| G2 | 4.8 / 5 | 6 reviews | 2026 |
| SaleHoo (10-product margin test) | Legitimate, rarely profitable | 10 products priced | 2026 |
| Better Business Bureau | A+ accredited | Complaint responsiveness | 2026 |
The Trustpilot distribution explains more than the average does. Of 94 reviews, 48% are five-star and 45% are one-star, with almost nothing in between. That is not a mediocre product, it is a product that works well for one kind of seller and badly for another.
The Shopify figure splits the same way at a different ratio: 73% five-star against 17% one-star. Merchants who installed the app and sell US-shipped goods are broadly happy. One in August 2026 wrote that “most of the vendors ship from the USA which customers prefer, quick shipping so you get more orders”.
Where the sources disagree
Three real contradictions, none of which we can resolve from the outside.
Support quality. Doba lists 24/7 support on every tier and a dedicated account manager from Standard upward. Trustpilot tells a different story: one seller in September 2025 wrote “I'VE BEEN CHASING DOBA SUPPORT FOR OVER A MONTH. MULTIPLE AGENTS PROMISED ‘WE'LL EMAIL YOU'”. The honest read is that support exists and its response times are inconsistent.
Plan value over time. A December 2025 Trustpilot reviewer claimed “every few months they raise the price but drop the number listings you can add”. We cannot verify historical limits from the current page, so we note the claim and its single source rather than endorsing it.
Inventory accuracy. Positive reviews single out automatic stock syncing as the platform's best feature, with one December 2025 reviewer saying that when something goes out of stock “it immediately reflects”. The SaleHoo test found 6 of 10 products out of stock, and a 2022 Shopify merchant reported having “to remove thousands of products because some only partially imported”. The sync works; the underlying supplier stock is the volatile part.
What sellers praise and complain about
- US-warehoused stock on roughly 90% of suppliers, with 2–7 business day domestic delivery reported across multiple 2026 sources
- Shopify merchants rate the app 4.3/5, crediting fulfilment speed and store sync
- One platform replaces per-supplier accounts, ordering and payment
- Automatic stock syncing is the feature positive verified buyers name most often
- Free profit, break-even ROAS and eBay fee calculators, available without a subscription
- Over 20 years of operating history and BBB accreditation
- In SaleHoo's 10-product test, 9 items were unprofitable at live marketplace prices, losing 3% to 81%
- Displayed “up to X% margin” labels are supplier settings, not live market maths
- No full refund once a subscription has been charged for more than 72 hours, per Doba's own fees page
- Repeated verified-buyer complaints about unexpected charges and difficult cancellation
- Support responsiveness is the second most common complaint after pricing
- Many suppliers prohibit resale on Amazon and Walmart
- The $29.99 Limited tier caps inventory at 20 products, which is not a working store
Who should try Doba
It fits if: you run a US-focused Shopify or WooCommerce store, your reviews are suffering because of three-week delivery from overseas suppliers, and your products carry enough brand or bundle value that you are not competing purely on price. Domestic shipping is what you are buying, and Doba delivers it.
Skip it if: you sell mainly on Amazon or eBay against price, you are starting your first store with no traffic, or you need a platform you can exit cheaply. On the evidence, a new seller relying on Doba's catalogue margins to fund ad spend is likely to lose money on both sides.
Better picks for price-led selling
Spocket, from about $24 a month, runs a smaller curated network of vetted US and EU suppliers. Prefer it when supplier quality and delivery speed matter more than catalogue breadth.
AutoDS, from about $19.90 a month, is an automation layer rather than a supplier directory, covering product research, imports, price monitoring and fulfilment across channels. Prefer it if you have already found your sourcing and want the operations automated.
Direct supplier accounts. If a handful of Doba brands cover most of your catalogue, applying to those brands directly removes both the subscription and the aggregator's markup. Slower to set up, better margins.
Is Doba legit?
Yes. Doba has operated since 2002, is BBB accredited with an A+ rating, and its supplier network and US fulfilment are real. Legitimacy and profitability are separate questions, and the evidence on profitability is much weaker than the evidence on legitimacy.
How much does Doba cost per month?
Monthly rates in October 2026 are $29.99 for Limited, $59.99 for Basic, $149.99 for Standard and $299.99 for Enterprise. Quarterly billing takes 5% off and annual billing takes 15%, both paid upfront.
Does Doba have a free trial?
Not on doba.com. The merchant's pricing page sells a 7-day Basic trial and a 5-day Standard trial for $0.99 each. Installing the Doba app through the Shopify App Store instead gives new customers a free 7-day Basic trial, limited to one per Shopify account. Both convert to a full paid subscription automatically unless cancelled.
Can you get a refund from Doba?
Not after 72 hours. Doba's fees page states that once a subscription fee has been charged for over 72 hours you are not entitled to a full refund of any monthly, quarterly or annual subscription. Difficult cancellation and unexpected charges are among the most frequent complaints in verified-buyer reviews, so set a calendar reminder before any trial converts.
Does Doba ship from the US?
Mostly. Multiple 2026 sources put roughly 90% of Doba suppliers in US warehouses, with typical domestic delivery of two to seven business days. Actual times vary by supplier processing speed, warehouse location and destination.
Can you make a profit with Doba?
It is difficult on the general catalogue. SaleHoo's published test of ten Doba products found nine were unprofitable at live marketplace prices before subscription and ad costs. Sellers who do profit tend to sell into niches where delivery speed, bundling or brand positioning carries the price rather than the lowest listing.
Bottom line
Doba is a real, long-running US dropshipping aggregator whose core promise — domestic warehouses and fast domestic delivery — is confirmed by every source we checked. The catalogue's wholesale pricing is the problem, and the published margin evidence against it is specific rather than vague.
Our confidence in that conclusion is moderate: it rests on one rigorous third-party margin test plus a consistent pattern in 142 verified-buyer reviews across two platforms, not on our own selling. If slow shipping is costing you reviews, the $0.99 Basic trial is a cheap way to price your own products against the live market before committing. Run your numbers inside the trial window, and avoid annual billing until they work.
