TWOPAGES Curtains Review: Custom Drapes, Swatches & Returns

ByWhatAllSay Editorial TeamFact-checkedUpdated Oct 6, 202611 min read
The verdict Swatch first, then buy

TWOPAGES sells genuinely made-to-measure drapery at close to ready-made prices, and buyer ratings back the quality. The catch is the exit: custom panels are non-returnable, and approved returns pay back 80%. Order the free swatches, measure twice, then commit. Skip it if you want a no-questions returns window.

Starts at$49.00 a sheer panel, $59.99 linen, before size and lining add-ons
Delivery5–12 days on custom drapes, 12–18 on Roman shades, 16–21 on bamboo

Main caveatMade-to-order items cannot be returned for fit or colour
8.0/10
A compiled score, not a hands-on one. Two large and independent ratings pools agree on quality, the published lead times are unusually short for custom work, and the entry prices are real. Marked down for a returns policy that leaves almost all the measurement risk with the buyer.

How we made this estimate

Compiled from five sources dated between October 2025 and 12 August 2026: the Trustpilot profile for twopagescurtains.com, the brand's own on-site ratings widget, two named long-term owner write-ups, and the TWOPAGES pricing, shipping, warranty, FAQ, cancellation and return policy pages, all read directly on 12 August 2026.

We did not test these curtains ourselves. Every claim about how the fabric hangs, how the colours read or how support responded is attributed to the customers or owner accounts that reported it.

What TWOPAGES actually sells

TWOPAGES Curtains is a direct-to-consumer window treatment brand that cuts drapery, Roman shades, bamboo woven shades, blinds and hardware to the measurements you enter at checkout. The brand's story page says it has served over 600,000 families and that manufacturing is done in-house at its own vertical factories rather than through partner workshops.

The catalogue is wider than the price bracket suggests. Fabrics run from lightweight sheers through Belgian flax linen, cotton, velvet, silk and wool, with blackout and thermal linings, trim borders, and cordless, corded, motorised and top-down-bottom-up lifts on the shade side.

Support runs seven days by email, live chat and WhatsApp, and the brand offers a free Zoom measuring consult alongside a paid in-home service. That matters more here than it would elsewhere, because the measuring is the part you cannot undo.

What owners agree on

The consensus across every source we read is that the product itself lands. Customers repeatedly describe the fabric as heavier and better finished than they expected at the price, and matched sets ordered for different rooms are reported as arriving consistent in colour and construction.

The second point of agreement is speed. TWOPAGES publishes a 5–12 day standard lead time on customised drapes and 3–7 days express, and owner accounts broadly bear that out: a write-up by Saj Mack in October 2025 recorded two and a half weeks from order to hanging, including the measuring back-and-forth.

The third is that the free swatches do their job. Owners who ordered fabric samples before committing consistently report the delivered colour matched what they picked; the complaints about colour come almost entirely from buyers who skipped that step.

Where the accounts split

The two ratings pools do not tell quite the same story. The brand's own widget reports 91% five-star out of 9,962 reviews, while Trustpilot, which the brand does not host, sits at four stars. Both are good numbers; the gap is the normal one between a merchant-hosted widget and an independent platform, and the Trustpilot figure is the more conservative read.

Three specific complaints recur often enough to take seriously. The first is measurement and fit, and it is nearly always the buyer's own measurements rather than a manufacturing error, which is precisely why it hurts so much under this returns policy.

The second is light leaking around blackout linings. Owners who lined their panels report the fabric itself blocks light well, and the leaks described are the standard edge-gap problem that comes from panels not being ordered wide enough to overlap the frame.

The third is printed patterns. A minority of customers say they would not order a printed fabric from the brand again, and the return policy backs up why: minor skew, or off-grain, in patterned and striped fabrics is explicitly listed as an inherent characteristic of the material and not a defect.

What you are really paying for

The advertised prices are base prices, and this is the single most useful thing to understand before you open a product page. The brand's pricing guide states the formula plainly: final price equals base price plus selected add-ons, multiplied by quantity, with add-ons charged for width, length, header style and liner.

Curtains are also sold per panel. The FAQ confirms that quantity 1 means one single panel, so a standard two-panel window is two units before a single add-on is counted.

US shipping is free over $300 after discounts, $17.99 between $200.01 and $299.99, and $23.00 below $200. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Caribbean territories carry a remote-area surcharge of roughly $35–$60, and the brand does not deliver to P.O. boxes or military addresses.

For readers outside the US, the duty position is better than most direct-from-factory brands. TWOPAGES states it covers all customs and taxes into the US, and covers standard duties and VAT into the UK, Australia, Canada and the EU in most cases, with Brazil, South Africa and remote islands listed as exceptions where local charges fall to the customer.

Discount coverage is not the same everywhere. The threshold codes, clearance markdowns and the referral and rewards credits are offered across the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, but the ID-verified discounts for healthcare workers, military, seniors, teachers, first responders and government staff run at 24–26% through VerifyPass and are US-only. Free shipping over $300 is US-only too. One code per order, and none of them combine.

The returns policy is the real risk

This is where the brand is genuinely more restrictive than its ratings imply, and where most of the negative accounts originate. Read this part before you read another word of fabric description.

Made-to-order drapes, shades, blinds, rods and tracks are non-returnable if they were made to match the order details you supplied, per the brand's return and refund policy. Swatches and sample booklets are not returnable either. Only ready-to-ship hardware and ready-made products qualify for the 30-day window, and only if they arrived faulty, damaged, or in the wrong size or colour, unused and with tags.

Where a return is approved, TWOPAGES does not supply return labels, and depending on the reason you carry the return shipping. The refund is then calculated as the order amount minus handling, packing and original outbound shipping, which the policy states accounts for 20% of the order. You get back 80%.

The cancellation clock is 12 hours. Cancel within 12 hours of payment confirmation on a working day and you get a full refund; cancel after production has begun and you owe 25% of the product price. Changing your specifications after that same 12-hour mark also triggers the 25% fee, and once an order has shipped it can be neither cancelled nor altered.

The tolerances are worth knowing too, because sizes inside them are not treated as defects. Drapery carries ±1 inch on length, and the finished width may come back 1–3 inches wider than ordered so the panels cover properly. Roman shades on an inside mount carry ±3/16 inch on width, and vertical seams on wide curtains are described as a normal part of custom manufacture and are not eligible for return or exchange.

The warranty is the counterweight and it is a strong one. TWOPAGES guarantees its products free of manufacturing defects for as long as you own them, repairing or replacing at its discretion, and if a fault is confirmed it refunds the full purchase cost. Normal fading from sunlight, fraying, colour loss, water, insect or pet damage and mechanism wear are excluded, and the cover is for the original purchaser only.

Strengths

  • Buyers on two separate ratings pools agree on fabric quality and finish, at four stars on Trustpilot and 91% five-star across 9,962 merchant-hosted reviews.
  • Published lead times of 5–12 days on custom drapes are short for made-to-measure work, and named owner accounts report delivery inside two to three weeks.
  • Five free fabric swatches, a measurement calculator and a free Zoom measuring consult all exist to de-risk the part of the purchase you cannot undo.
  • Multiple customers report quotes from local workrooms at roughly three times what they paid here for comparable shades.
  • Duties and VAT are covered into the US, and in most cases into Canada, Australia, the UK and the EU.
  • Manufacturing defects are covered for as long as you own the product.

Weaknesses

  • Custom panels cannot be returned because they do not fit or the colour reads differently on your wall. Measure wrong and you own the mistake.
  • Even an approved return refunds 80%, with handling, packing and outbound shipping deducted, and you pay to ship it back.
  • The 12-hour cancellation window is short, and a 25% fee applies to changes or cancellations after it.
  • A minority of customers report fit problems and inconsistent support experiences when things go wrong.
  • Some customers say they would not order a printed pattern again, and the policy classes minor off-grain skew in patterns as normal.
  • Blackout light leak at panel edges is a recurring complaint, and it traces back to ordering panels too narrow to overlap the frame.
  • The best discounts, the ID-verified ones at 24–26%, are US-only, as is free shipping.

Who should buy, and who should not

Buy if your windows are the reason ready-made panels have failed you: extra-long drops, extra-wide spans, arched or awkward frames, or a set of rooms you want matched. That is the case where custom pricing stops being a premium and starts being the only sensible option, and where the gap to a local workroom quote is widest.

Buy if you are willing to spend an evening on the free swatches and the measurement calculator first. Every source we read points the same way: the customers who did this were happy, and the customers who did not are the ones filing complaints.

Do not buy if you want to see the panels on your rail and change your mind. Buy from a ready-made retailer with a real returns window instead, then move to custom once you know the look you want.

Do not buy if you are ordering a bold printed pattern sight-unseen, and do not buy if you need guaranteed room-blackout without first checking that your ordered width overlaps the frame generously on both sides.

Better picks for some rooms

Barn & Willow is the closest comparison on positioning, with custom Belgian linen drapes starting around $99 for a 50-by-84-inch panel according to Remodelista's coverage of the brand. Prefer it if you want a narrower, more curated fabric range and are less price-sensitive.

Half Price Drapes sells pre-sized panels from around $15 each. It is not the same product, but if your windows are standard sizes, paying custom prices buys you nothing, and a returnable ready-made panel is the lower-risk purchase.

The Shade Store sits at the premium end with showrooms and in-home measuring. Prefer it if you want a person to take responsibility for the measurements, and accept that this service is the bulk of what the higher price buys.

Is TWOPAGES Curtains legit?

Yes. It holds a 4-star TrustScore on Trustpilot across roughly 4,900 to 5,400 reviews as indexed in August 2026, publishes full return, warranty, cancellation and shipping policies, lists a US support line and email, and ships through DHL, FedEx, UPS and USPS with tracking and shipping insurance.

Can you return TWOPAGES custom curtains?

Generally no. Made-to-order drapes, shades, blinds and tracks are non-returnable when they match the specifications you submitted. Ready-to-ship hardware and ready-made products can be returned within 30 days of the delivery date shown in tracking if they arrived faulty, damaged or in the wrong size or colour, unused and with tags. Approved returns are refunded at 80% of the order value, and you pay return shipping.

How long does TWOPAGES take to deliver?

The published lead times are 5–12 days standard or 3–7 days express for customised curtains and drapes, 12–18 days for plain Roman shades, 16–21 days for bamboo woven shades, and 2–6 business days for fabric swatches and booklets. Owner accounts report about two and a half weeks door to door once measuring time is included.

Are TWOPAGES curtains sold in pairs or single panels?

Single panels. The brand's FAQ confirms that a quantity of 1 means one panel, with a few listings such as trimmed curtains sold as pairs. Budget for two units per standard window, and remember the listed price is a base price before width, length, header and liner add-ons.

Does TWOPAGES ship to Canada, Australia and New Zealand?

Yes, and it states that it covers standard duties and VAT into Canada, Australia, the UK and the EU in most cases. Free shipping over $300 and the ID-verified discount programmes are US-only, so factor shipping into the total if you are ordering from outside the US.

How do you get the best discount on TWOPAGES curtains?

The largest savings are structural rather than seasonal. Approved trade professionals get up to 35%, and verified healthcare workers, military, veterans, seniors aged 60 and over, teachers and first responders get 24–26% in the US. Otherwise the brand runs stacked spend thresholds at $600 and $1,200, a first-order discount above $300, clearance markdowns on discontinued fabrics, and a rewards scheme paying 500 points on signup. Only one code applies per order and none of them combine.

Bottom line

TWOPAGES earns its ratings. Across roughly 15,000 buyer ratings on two platforms, a one-year owner follow-up and a three-year one, the verdict on the fabric and the finish is consistent, and the published lead times are genuinely fast for made-to-measure work.

Our confidence in the product is high; our confidence in the process depends entirely on you. The policy is built on the assumption that you ordered swatches and measured correctly, and it charges you if that assumption fails. Do those two things and this is a strong buy at the price.
