What are not yet wet wipes made of?
Earthly’s cotton wipes are made with 50% unbleached, OEKO-TEX certified, Mississippi grown True Cotton, and 50% mechanically repurposed post-industrial cotton clothing scrap
What are the dots/colored fibers on my wipes?
The small speckles are pieces of the cotton plant that were not bleached out. If you see a dark fiber in a wipe, that is simply a piece of repurposed cotton from a non-white item that accidentally slipped in!
Are they washable?
Yes! Each washing machine is slightly different, so they safely suggest machine wash and drying one time, and recommend a gentle cycle.
Are they compostable?
Yes! Cotton is naturally biodegradable and compostable, and will easily break down completely in a backyard or industrial compost.
How long will my homemade solutions last?
It completely depends on the solution, but a general rule of thumb would be to change your solution at least monthly. Using distilled water as the base for your solution will help to prevent the growth of bacteria in your recipes.
