The short answer Good fit

Swiss Beauty is a good fit if you want everyday Indian-market makeup at ₹229 to ₹600 a product, and you buy on the brand's own site where 30% of the order comes back as wallet credit. Verified buyers rate its foundations, lipsticks and kajals 4.0 to 4.3 out of 5. Settle one thing first: returns run on a 48-hour window.

How we made this estimate

We compiled this from nine sources read between 12 and 31 October 2026. Those were: verified-buyer ratings on eight Swiss Beauty hero products across Nykaa and Amazon India; the brand's own refund, shipping, cashback, offers and loyalty pages; a full capture of its 38 live promotions; and company reporting from Indian Retailer, Tracxn, PitchBook, afaqs and RetailIntel.

We did not use these products ourselves. Every claim about how something wears, blends or lasts is attributed to the verified buyers who said it, and every price and policy comes from a page we read on a stated date.

What Swiss Beauty actually sells

Swiss Beauty is an Indian colour-cosmetics brand run out of Delhi. Its own terms name JBJ Impex at 150 Qutub Road, Sadar Bazar, Delhi 110006 as the registered address, and Tofler lists Swiss Beauty Cosmetics Private Limited as a Delhi-registered private company. It ships within India only.

The catalogue is wide rather than deep. Face covers foundation, primer and setting spray, concealer, compact powder, highlighter and contour, blush and bronzer, BB and CC cream, palettes and sindoor. Eye runs eyeliner, kajal, eyeshadow, mascara, brow products and false lashes, and Lips splits into bullet lipstick, liquid lipstick, lip crayon, liner, balm and gloss.

Beyond makeup there are nail lacquers, brushes and tools, perfumes, and a skincare line the brand launched as Swiss Beauty Care, reported by HPC Mag MEA in September 2025. Two sub-ranges sit either side of the core: SELECT is the premium arm, CRAZE is the cheaper end.

Scale is the part most buyers underestimate. Indian Retailer reported the brand at roughly ₹425 crore revenue in FY24, with about 25,500 retail touchpoints across more than 550 cities and a 60/40 split between offline and online sales. Tracxn puts FY25 operating revenue in the ₹100–500 crore band with 23% year-on-year growth, and afaqs has reported a ₹750 crore revenue ambition.

What buyers actually rate it

The ratings are consistent in a way that matters more than any single score. Across eight hero products on two large Indian marketplaces, nothing we found fell below 4.0 out of 5, and nothing reached 4.4.

The praise clusters tightly. On the Primer Mousse Foundation page, verified buyers repeatedly describe a lightweight formula that blends smoothly and holds through a working day, and value for money is the single most common phrase. Buyers of the Pure Matte Lipstick describe a satin-smooth texture that dries matte without feeling tight.

Kajal is the other product line with a clear pattern. Amazon India buyers of the Intense Gel Kajal call it heavily pigmented and smudge-proof, with the brand claiming up to 24-hour wear, and the pencil kajal variants sit at 4.0 out of 5 across several hundred to just under a thousand ratings each.

Where the sources disagree

Two things are worth knowing because the public record is not uniform. The first is the brand's age: Tofler and Indian Retailer both place its founding in 2009, PitchBook says 2013, and the operating company Swiss Beauty Cosmetics Private Limited was incorporated on 19 April 2021. The likeliest reading is a brand that traded for years before the current entity was registered.

The second is store count, where the numbers measure different things. Indian Retailer's 25,500 figure counts retail touchpoints, meaning any counter stocking the brand, while RetailIntel reports 1,240 branded stores across 133 cities as of 30 September 2026. Both can be true at once.

On shade range, sources split along predictable lines. Indian beauty bloggers and shade guides agree the line is well judged for warm, golden and neutral undertones and name shades 04 and 05 as the reliable wheatish matches, while the same writeups note fewer deep options than premium lines carry. Match by undertone rather than by shade number if you are buying unseen.

What you'll really pay

Here are prices we read on swissbeauty.in on 31 October 2026, which give a clearer picture than any stated range. A Pure Matte Lipstick listed and sold at ₹229. A Precision Mascara and a Care Dew Lock Sunscreen both listed and sold at ₹299.

Larger items climb fast. The Face Perfection Makeup Kit showed ₹2,144 listed, ₹1,399 on sale, and ₹1,349 if you pay online. The Professional Series 20-piece brush set showed ₹3,999 down to ₹2,399, and a Workday Ready duo ₹538 down to ₹377.

The structural discount is the wallet. The brand's cashback policy states that 30% of order value is credited as Swiss Cash within 24 hours of successful delivery, and the terms we read cap the wallet at ₹10,000, expire credit after 30 days, and allow it to cover at most half of a future order. It is not withdrawable as cash, so it is best read as a discount on your next order rather than money back.

Three smaller mechanics stack on top. Paying online rather than cash on delivery takes roughly 5% more off, visible as a lower prepaid price on every product card. Free shipping starts at ₹399. And the loyalty programme hands out 500 points for a newsletter signup, 500 for writing a review, 1,000 on your birthday and 1 point per ₹10 spent.

Swiss Beauty runs its promotions as thresholds rather than flat discounts, and we counted 38 live at once in October 2026. Several unlock free bestsellers at ₹799, ₹999 and ₹1,499, and the strongest sitewide offer we saw needed a ₹1,599 cart. Build your basket to the nearest threshold before you check out, because the gap is often smaller than the freebie.

What works well, what to check

What works well

  • Verified buyers across both marketplaces rate every hero product we checked between 4.0 and 4.3 out of 5, with no weak outlier.
  • Prices are genuinely low: ₹229 for a matte lipstick and ₹299 for a mascara are the real selling prices, not teasers.
  • Shade work is aimed at Indian warm and golden undertones, which the shade guides consistently credit.
  • The 30% wallet cashback and the prepaid discount apply on the brand's own site and are not conditional on a sale event.
  • Buying is easy to do locally too, with roughly 25,500 stocking points and quick-commerce delivery via Zepto.

What to know before you buy

  • Raise any return within 48 hours of delivery. The window is short, so open the parcel the day it arrives.
  • Film a continuous unboxing video. The policy requires one without cuts or pauses, and it is the evidence a claim rests on.
  • Returns cover damaged, missing or wrong items only, so shade mismatches are not returnable. Order one shade first.
  • Sale-section items, free gifts and single products out of a kit are excluded from returns.
  • Swiss Cash expires after 30 days and covers at most half of your next order. Plan the follow-up purchase if you want the full value.
  • Items are cancellable within 2 hours of ordering, before dispatch.

Those return terms are the reason the Returns and refunds sub-score sits at 6.0. They are clearly printed on the brand's refund policy page, and the reverse pickup itself is free and collected within two to four business days, so the process is workable once a claim qualifies. The practical response is simply to check the parcel on arrival.

How fast it ships

The brand's shipping policy states orders are processed and packed within 24 to 48 hours, then take 2 to 7 working days to arrive, with next-day delivery on selected pincodes. Delivery covers all serviceable pin codes in India.

Two details affect what you pay. Orders under ₹399 carry a ₹50 shipping charge, and cash on delivery adds a fee shown at checkout. Shipping and COD charges are not refunded on a return, which is another small argument for paying online.

Who it suits best

Swiss Beauty fits the shopper replacing or expanding an everyday kit without spending much. If you want three lipsticks, a kajal, a compact and a foundation for roughly the price of one premium foundation, the compiled ratings say you will get serviceable products.

It also suits anyone with a warm, golden or neutral Indian undertone who has struggled to match imported lines, and anyone who reorders regularly enough to use the 30-day wallet credit before it lapses.

An alternative may fit better in two cases. If you need a deep shade or a foundation that has to survive a long wedding day, the comparison coverage consistently puts Maybelline ahead on wear time and shade depth. And if you are a one-off buyer who will never place a second order, the cashback is worth little to you, so compare the landed price against the marketplaces first.

Better picks for specific needs

Maybelline New York — prefer it when longevity and deeper shades decide the purchase. Category round-ups put it ahead of Swiss Beauty on wear time and shade depth, and it is easier to find and swatch in physical stores.

Lakmé — prefer it for a salon-style finish or office-ready everyday wear, through the Absolute and 9to5 ranges. Prices span a wider band, roughly ₹150 to ₹1,500, so it overlaps Swiss Beauty at the bottom and goes well past it at the top.

Swiss Beauty SELECT — prefer the brand's own premium range if you like the shade matching but want better formulas. RetailIntel reports SELECT targeting ₹70 crore-plus revenue in FY27 on the back of new launches and more outlets, so availability is improving.

Questions buyers ask most

Is Swiss Beauty a good brand?

On the compiled evidence, yes, for its price band. Verified buyers on Nykaa and Amazon India rate its foundations, lipsticks, compacts and kajals between 4.0 and 4.3 out of 5 across tens of thousands of ratings, and the recurring praise is lightweight texture, pigment and value. It is not pitched as a premium formula and the ratings do not claim otherwise.

Is Swiss Beauty an Indian or a Swiss brand?

It is an Indian brand. It is headquartered in Delhi, its registered address is in Sadar Bazar, and it ships within India only. Its company profile says ingredients are sourced from Japan, Taiwan, Italy and Germany.

What is Swiss Beauty's return policy?

You have 48 hours from delivery to raise a return or exchange, and it covers damaged, missing or wrong items only. Products must be unopened and sealed with original packaging, tags and freebies intact, and a continuous unboxing video is required. Reverse pickup is free and refunds are processed within 15 days, with card and net-banking refunds taking 7 to 10 working days.

How long does Swiss Beauty take to deliver?

Orders are packed within 24 to 48 hours and arrive 2 to 7 working days after dispatch, with next-day delivery on some pincodes. Tracking updates are sent by WhatsApp and email.

Is Swiss Beauty cheaper on its own website or on Nykaa?

We did not price-match every product, so compare the landed price before you choose. What is clear is that the 30% Swiss Cash wallet credit, the roughly 5% prepaid discount, the free-shipping threshold at ₹399 and the cart-threshold freebies all apply on swissbeauty.in and not on the marketplaces.

Does Swiss Beauty work for dusky or deep Indian skin tones?

Shade guides rate the warm, golden and neutral end of the range well and name shades 04 and 05 as dependable wheatish matches. The same sources note fewer deep options than premium lines offer, so match by undertone and buy one shade before committing to a full base routine.

How does Swiss Cash cashback actually work?

The cashback policy states 30% of order value is credited to your Swiss Cash wallet within 24 hours of successful delivery. The wallet caps at ₹10,000, credit lapses after 30 days, it can cover at most half of a future order, and it cannot be withdrawn as cash.

Bottom line

Our compiled estimate is 8.1 out of 10, and we hold it with reasonable confidence: the ratings evidence is large and consistent, and the price and policy facts come straight from the brand's own pages. Swiss Beauty earns that score by doing the cheap end of Indian colour cosmetics competently and at scale, not by beating premium formulas.

Buy it if you are building an everyday kit for warm or golden undertones and you will reorder often enough to spend the wallet credit. Open the parcel on arrival, film the unboxing, and build your cart to the nearest offer threshold rather than just under it. The brand usually has a sitewide offer and several cart-threshold freebies running at once, so check the current one before you pay.
