WhatAllSay helps you compare products by summarising what published reviews and buyers say about them. This page explains how the site is paid for.

Commissions. Some links on WhatAllSay are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission from the seller. It costs you nothing extra and the price you pay does not change.

Sponsored placements. Partners can pay to be shown in a marked spot: at the top of a topic page, in the first card of a homepage topic block, as the lead of “New this week”, or at the end of an article. Every one of these is labelled “Sponsored”, and its link is marked as sponsored for search engines. A placement is never part of the review text, a verdict, a list of pros and cons, or an “Alternatives” section.

What a payment does not change. A commission or a placement fee does not change what a published review says, and we do not write review text for a partner.

Coupon pages. Coupon and deal pages may contain affiliate links. Offers change quickly, so check the terms on the seller's site before you buy.

How we write. Our reviews and meta-reviews summarise sources that we name and date. We do not say we tested a product unless a page states exactly what was tested.

Questions. If you spot a link or placement that is not labelled, tell us through the contact page and we will fix it.
