The short answer Worth trying

Tinymoose is a Wyoming-registered accessories brand selling iPad styluses from $29.95, keyboards and smartwatches, with free tracked shipping to more than 50 countries and a one-year replacement warranty. Compiled sources rate the styluses well for note-taking and sketching. Order with the warranty terms in mind, because change-of-mind returns are not accepted.

How we made this estimate

We compiled ten sources dated between September 2025 and October 2026: one named expert review, two retail deals write-ups, a third-party marketplace listing with its buyer rating, an owner thread on a hardware forum, the merchant's own on-site product ratings, and the merchant's published shipping, refund and wholesale pages. We also re-read every price and offer on the live store on 8 October 2026.

We have not used these products ourselves, so every claim about how they feel or perform is attributed to the source that made it. Prices below are the US-session list prices; the store renders local currency by region, so a Canadian or European shopper sees a different number for the same item.

What Tinymoose actually sells

Tinymoose is a consumer electronics accessories brand based in Sheridan, Wyoming, trading on Shopify. Its own About page states the mission as designing “tools that spark ideas, speed up workflows, and help people connect”. The catalogue is small and deliberately so: 28 products across five collections.

Styluses are the core business, with 20 listings covering six models. The entry-level Pencil Pro and Pencil Pro Lumin sit at $29.95, the Pencil Pro 2 and Pencil Pro Sketch at $39.95, the Pencil Pro Plus with wireless charging at $45.00, and the Pencil Pro Ultra at $49.95.

All six share the same base feature set, per the brand's own model comparison: palm rejection, tilt support for shading, replaceable nibs, magnetic attachment, an LED battery indicator, USB-C fast charging and a stated 10-plus hours of battery. What you pay more for is the extras. The Pencil Pro 2 adds Bluetooth and a shortcut button; the Ultra adds Smart Switch, which lets one pen work across an iPad, an iPhone and Android tablets.

Beyond pens there are five SpacePad iPad keyboard cases at $139.99 for the standard model and $169.99 for the SpacePad Pro, two Tempo smartwatches, and replacement nib packs at $14.99. Note that both Tempo colourways and the iPad Air 13 and Pro 12.9 fitment of the standard SpacePad were showing as sold out when we checked the collection.

Is it a real company or a dropshipper?

The signals point to a real, if young, brand rather than a storefront reselling unbranded stock. Products carry model numbers, published specs and a stated material (the Pencil Pro Ultra lists as 13g aluminium alloy, model TMS-862-B). It runs a wholesale and institutional programme, a published affiliate programme through Impact.com, and an active product blog.

It has also passed through independent editorial hands. Ed Hardy reviewed the Pencil Pro Ultra for Cult of Mac on 23 January 2026, which is a named writer with a byline putting a score on the product rather than a syndicated press release.

One honest qualifier: Tinymoose fulfils from what its shipping policy calls “our international warehouse”, not a US one. That is normal for accessories at this price and it is disclosed, but it is the reason delivery runs to 7–10 business days rather than two.

What the sources agree on

Across everything we read, the consensus is narrow and consistent: these are competent everyday pens at a fraction of Apple's price, and they are not instruments for professional digital artists.

Hardy's verdict for Cult of Mac was four stars out of five, with “works with both iPad and iPhone”, “great for notes, sketching, etc.” and “affordable” as the listed strengths, against “not enough for artists”. On the writing feel he said the pen “feels comfortable in my hand, and it's easy to write with”. On battery he found the 10-hour claim “a reasonable estimate”, with an 80% top-up in about 15 minutes.

The sample is the thing to keep in proportion. Three of those six entries are merchant-side or promotional, the marketplace rating rests on a single buyer, and the on-site 37-review count is small for a brand this visible. That is a young brand's evidence base, not a damning one.

The most useful first-hand account we found was on the MacRumors forums in February 2026, from a member who owns both an Apple Pencil Pro and the Pencil Pro Ultra. They handed the Tinymoose to their children and reported it “already fallen quite a few times haha” without issue, and called the cross-device support “a nice bonus”.

Where the sources disagree

Two points genuinely split.

Tilt is the first. The brand lists tilt support on every model and its comparison page describes it as giving “shading and stroke variation”. Hardy, testing the Ultra, wrote plainly that tilt detection “doesn't work for me in any app”. If shading is central to how you draw, treat tilt as unconfirmed and check it in your own app within the first 30 days.

Phone mode is the second. Smart Switch is the Ultra's headline feature and the forum owner valued it, but Hardy's assessment was that “writing on a 6- or 7-inch screen is simply awkward”. His framing is the fair one: fine for a quick note, not for a lecture.

What you are really paying

The comparison the brand makes itself is the right one. Its stylus collection page states that “the Apple Pencil costs up to $129”, and positions its own line between $30 and $70. At $29.95 for a pen with palm rejection, tilt and magnetic attachment, the value case does not need much help.

Offers move that number further. The store's own announcement bar was running a back-to-school sitewide percentage discount when we checked on 8 October 2026, and a cart test on 7 October found a deeper sitewide code applying 20% off at checkout. Both are on this page's offer widget rather than in this text, since codes rotate faster than articles do.

Two pricing details are worth knowing before you compare. First, the store prices in local currency by region, so the same pen reads as a different number from Canada or the UK than from the US. Second, some models appear on third-party marketplaces below the merchant's own list price: Cult of Mac Deals listed the Pencil Pro Ultra at $39.95 against a $49.95 MSRP, StackSocial listed the Pencil Pro 2 at $29.99 against $39.95, and the SpacePad keyboard appeared at $109.99 against $139.99. Worth a 30-second price check across both before you order.

Shipping, and how long it takes

Shipping is one of the stronger parts of the proposition. Tinymoose's shipping policy lists free tracked shipping to every country it serves except Australia and Lebanon, which pay a $5 USD flat rate. There is no order minimum stated, so a $14.99 nib pack ships free.

The destination list is genuinely wide: the US, Canada and Mexico; 23 European countries; Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and much of South-East Asia; Australia and New Zealand; Colombia, Peru, South Africa, Nigeria and Angola.

The timeline is the part to plan around. The policy states 1–2 business days to process and hand off, then 7–10 business days of tracked transit via local carriers including UPS, USPS and UNIUNI. Duties and taxes, where assessed, are the buyer's responsibility, which matters most for the higher-priced keyboards.

What to know before you buy

The after-sale terms are the single most important thing to read, and they are published clearly in the refund policy rather than hidden.

  • The warranty runs a year and pays out in product, not money. The stated remedy is “a replacement unit for confirmed defects”, shipped within two business days of approval, and you do not post the faulty item back. Budget for a replacement rather than a refund.
  • Change-of-mind returns are not offered. The policy states it plainly. Pick your iPad fitment carefully, because the keyboard cases are model-specific and a wrong guess is not reversible.
  • Two reporting clocks. Transit damage must be reported within seven days of delivery with photos; a dead-on-arrival unit within 30 days. Open the box and test the pen on the day it lands.
  • Check tilt in your own app early. Given the one unresolved disagreement in the sources, this is the thing to verify inside the 30-day window if shading matters to you.
  • Compare against the marketplace listings. Several models have appeared cheaper on StackSocial and Cult of Mac Deals, though those listings ship only to the contiguous US and carry their own return terms.

What works well

  • Priced from $29.95 against the Apple Pencil's stated $129 ceiling, per the merchant's own collection page
  • Cult of Mac's named reviewer rated the Pencil Pro Ultra 4/5 and found the 10-hour battery claim reasonable
  • Palm rejection works well on iPad, per the same review; an owner on MacRumors reports it surviving repeated drops
  • Free tracked shipping to 50-plus countries with no stated order minimum
  • One pen covers iPad, iPhone and Android on the Ultra model, which no Apple Pencil does
  • Pencil Pro Ultra ships with three nibs, a leather case, a cable and a free Skillshare month included

What to know before you buy

  • The warranty remedy is replacement-only, and change-of-mind returns are not accepted
  • Tilt support is listed by the brand but Cult of Mac's reviewer could not get it working; test it early
  • Cult of Mac rates the line as not sufficient for professional digital artists
  • Delivery runs 7–10 business days after dispatch from an international warehouse
  • Independent review volume is still thin, so judge it on the named expert test rather than rating counts
  • Keyboard cases are fitment-specific, and the iPad Air 13 / Pro 12.9 variant and both Tempo smartwatches were sold out when we checked

Who it suits best

It fits students, note-takers and anyone annotating documents on an iPad who does not want to spend triple for Apple's pen. The institutional route reinforces that: Tinymoose's wholesale page runs volume pricing from 10 units upward for schools, universities, healthcare and government buyers, with quotes inside one business day. Note that this is a procurement programme, not an individual student discount; there is no UNiDAYS or Student Beans scheme here.

It also fits the parent buying a pen for a child's tablet, which is where the MacRumors owner report lands squarely, and the multi-device user who would rather carry one pen for a tablet and a phone.

An alternative may suit you better in two cases. If you draw professionally and depend on pressure curves and reliable tilt, Apple's own Pencil Pro is the safer purchase on the strength of the one unresolved disagreement above. And if you need a no-questions return window because you are not certain which model fits your iPad, a retailer with a standard change-of-mind policy removes that risk.

Alternatives worth comparing

  • Apple Pencil Pro — prefer it if you draw for a living, want guaranteed tilt and pressure behaviour in professional apps, and want Apple's retail return terms. The brand's own page puts Apple's line at up to $129, so expect to pay a multiple.
  • ESR Geo Digital Pencil — the pen most often weighed against the Pencil Pro Ultra in the MacRumors thread we read, and the obvious cross-shop in the same price bracket if you want a second third-party option before committing.
  • Apple Magic Keyboard or a Logitech folio — worth comparing against the SpacePad if trackpad glide and base rigidity matter more than price. Cult of Mac's SpacePad coverage credits its scissor-switch keys, RGB backlight and up to 200 hours of battery, but it is a $139.99 case, not a $300 one, and the trade-offs sit where you would expect.
Is Tinymoose a legitimate company?

The evidence says yes. It is a Shopify-based brand registered in Sheridan, Wyoming, with published shipping, refund and warranty policies, model numbers and specs on its products, a wholesale and institutional programme, and an affiliate programme run through Impact.com. Its Pencil Pro Ultra was reviewed under a named byline by Cult of Mac in January 2026.

How long does Tinymoose take to deliver?

Its shipping policy states 1–2 business days to process and hand the order to a carrier, then 7–10 business days of tracked transit. Orders ship from an international warehouse, which is why it is a week-plus rather than next-day. Business days there include Saturdays, excluding holidays.

Does Tinymoose offer free shipping?

Yes, to every country it serves except Australia and Lebanon, which pay a $5 USD flat rate. No minimum order value is stated, and all orders include tracking. Customs duties and taxes, where they apply, are the buyer's responsibility.

Can you return a Tinymoose stylus?

Not for a change of mind. The refund policy states that change-of-mind returns are not accepted and refunds are not issued. Confirmed defects inside the one-year warranty are handled with a free replacement unit shipped within two business days of approval, and you keep the faulty item rather than posting it back.

Is the Tinymoose stylus as good as an Apple Pencil?

For note-taking and casual sketching on an iPad, the sources say it is close enough to matter at the price. Cult of Mac rated the Pencil Pro Ultra 4/5 and found palm rejection excellent and writing comfortable, while stating it is not enough for professional artists. It also charges over USB-C rather than drawing power from the iPad.

Which Tinymoose stylus should I buy?

All six models share palm rejection, tilt, replaceable nibs, magnetic attachment and 10-plus hours of battery. The $29.95 Pencil Pro is enough for straight note-taking. The $39.95 Pencil Pro 2 adds Bluetooth and a shortcut button for app switching. The $49.95 Pencil Pro Ultra is the only one that also works on phones and Android tablets, and it is the model that ships with the case, spare nibs and Skillshare month.

Does Tinymoose have a student discount?

Not an individual one. There is no UNiDAYS, Student Beans or SheerID verification programme. Schools, universities and district procurement teams can get volume pricing from 10 units upward through the wholesale request form, with a quote inside one business day.

The bottom line

Our compiled estimate is 7.4 out of 10, held with moderate confidence: one named expert test and one credible owner report are a real foundation, but the independent sample is still small for a brand this visible. Nothing in what we read contradicts the core proposition, which is competent Apple Pencil basics from $29.95 with free tracked shipping almost anywhere.

Buy it for notes, annotation, study and casual sketching, and for the flexibility of one pen across a tablet and a phone. Read the warranty first, pick your iPad fitment carefully, and test tilt in your own app inside the first month.
